The Board of Directors has announced that 46 scholarships were awarded in May, 2025. These scholarships totaled over $144,000. The 2026 scholarships will be annouced in August 2026. ~Viles Foundation, Inc.
New Mexico Highlands University selected Matie Viles and Ken and Sue Crimmins to co-name the new Student Residence hall on their campus. It is known as the "Matie Viles and Ken and Sue Crimmin Student Residence Hall". ~Viles Foundation, Inc.

Unveiling Bas Relef Unveiling Duke Sundt, sculptor, allowed Eleanor Wald to unveil the bas' relief of Matie on horseback. Explanation Bas' Relief The excitement in the room was very evident while Duke described the processes of the sculpture. The guests did not expect this excellent memorial to Matie Viles.
